When Avy, Jake’s daughter expresses a holiday wish. After falling off the cliff, Sierra is found unconscious as Ted makes his proposal to her, leaving the two of them apart. During a sleigh ride, Jake discovers Sierra unconscious and brings her to town for medical attention. However, Sierra has lost her memory and cannot be identified. Until someone discovers her or his memory returns and finds difficulty adjusting to the more straightforward ways of doing things, Jake offers Sierra a room at the lodge.
